Bakhmut is a place of heavy battles at the front. Ukraine has been holding the city for 10 months, protecting it from invaders.
The supply of Ukrainian forces in the city is not disrupted, said the representative of the eastern group of troops Serhiy Cherevaty on the air of the telethon.
“The defense in Bakhmut is maintained not only by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also by border guards, the National Guard. There is an opportunity to deliver ammunition, provisions, pick up the wounded,” Cherevaty said.
He also stressed that defense issues are important, “but no army in the world announces its tactical actions.”
In addition, according to Cherevaty, the Russians are trying to hit the bridges to disrupt supplies. But the units of the Ukrainian defenders “provide the opportunity to deliver everything you need using different methods.”
Recall that the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, made a retreat from Bakhmut and spoke about the consequences for the Russian Federation.
Also, the Institute for the Study of War is sure that the Russians will not be able to capture Bakhmut in the near future .
Earlier, a representative of the eastern group of troops, Sergei Cherevaty, said that a rotation was taking place in Bakhmut , and not a withdrawal of troops.
