Queen Letizia looks like she’s swapping the crown for the runway. The Spanish royal stepped out in a gorgeous green midi dress in Madrid, as she attended The Institutional Act event for World Mental Health Day. Donning a satchel bag with some chic black pumps, heads turned for the Spanish royal’s entrance as she appeared alongside government health officials.

Though well-known for her fashion sense, the Queen revealed another unusual skill to raise awareness for the cause as she took to the stage to deliver a speech. Indeed, the Queen rapped her way through part of the delivery. The lyrics (written by local Madrid rapper El Chojin) translated into English are ‘I do what I can. I get to what I get to, and it is not healthy that so much is demanded of me.’ Done in good faith, Letizia commented on the broad appeal of her musical ability. ‘If today or tomorrow even one newspaper writes, “The Queen Raps for Mental Health Day” it will bring attention to the cause.’

This comes shortly after Queen Letizia appeared alongside her husband King Felipe VI at the Military Academy of Zaragoza. The King and Queen were witnessing their daughter, Princess Leonor, perform in the flag swearing-in ceremony. The couple’s 18-year-old daughter has been serving her three-year term of military service and the royals looked on proudly as their daughter kissed the Spanish flag.

Letizia was not the only royal who was stepping out for World Mental Health Day. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in New York City on 10 October for a summit to discuss mental health in the online world. The Princess of Wales has also been doing the rounds, appearing at multiple events this week. Today, she arrived at Nottingham Trent University to discuss psychological well-being in higher education. On Tuesday, she appeared with her husband the Prince of Wales for a collaborative event with BBC Radio 1 and charity The Mix to promote mental wellbeing for young people.
