(Belga) Colombian Nico Echavarria grabbed the top spot at the Puerto Rico Open golf tournament, a $3.8 million PGA Tour tournament, after the third round on Saturday at the Grand Reserve in Rio Grande.
Echavarria, looking for a first success on the PGA Tour, returned a card of 65, 7 under par, including an eagle, six birdies and a bogey. With his total of 199, 17 under par, he is two strokes ahead of American Carson Young, who had to give up first place after a third round in 71 strokes. (Belga)
