The chambers of commerce and industry in Lebanon and France on Tuesday signed a cooperation agreement to assist Lebanese and French companies in their investment in the two countries.
The agreement was signed between Mohammad Choucair, chairman of the Beirut Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, Gaby Tamer, head of the Lebanese-French Chamber of Commerce, and Maxence Duault, president of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lebanon.
A statement released by the Beirut chamber said it allocated an office for this project to enable French companies to benefit from its services.
It added that the agreement would also facilitate Lebanese companies’ entry into the French and European markets.
Choucair said the agreement would help enhance cooperation and interaction between the private sectors in the two countries.
