The delegations led by the Member of the European Parliament (MEP), Bert-Jan Ruissen (Netherlands), and the chair of the Subcommittee on Security and Defense of the European Parliament, Nathalie Loiseau (France), are in Armenia, the National Assembly of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The guests on Tuesday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan. The members of the delegations laid a wreath and flowers at the Eternal Flame perpetuating the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims, honored them in silence, and bowed before the memory of these Holy Martyrs.

Also, they toured the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. Bert-Jan Ruissen signed the museum’s book of honored guests. “Thank you very much for the tour. The exhibition is very moving. It shows the tragic fate of the Armenian population. We should not forget these horrible acts and we should keep the memories of the genocide alive,” the Dutch MEP noted.
