Afghanistan exported different goods worth 45 billion afghanis in the first five months of the current solar year.
Fruits, vegetables, saffron, coal, etc., accounted for 60 percent of the exports, the Prime Minister’s Office said.
It added 96.5 percent of these items were exported to Tajikistan, India, Iraq, Turkey, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
The remaining 3.5 percent were exported to other countries, Bakhtar News Agency reported, citing a statement from the premier’s office.
